Beginner Guide
Welcome to Forge Conquer Online!
This guide walks you through your first steps, from character creation to your first class promotion at level 15. Follow these steps and you'll be grinding efficiently in no time.
Step 1: Create Your Character
- Choose a name for your character
- Select your class — this determines your entire playstyle:
- Trojan — Melee DPS, dual-wield, highest physical damage
- Warrior — Tank with shield, self-healing, crowd control
- Archer — Ranged attacker with Fly ability
- Ninja — Assassin with poison and counter skills
- Monk — Martial artist with combo attacks
- Pirate — Hybrid ranged/melee with guns and blades
- Taoist — Spellcaster (specializes into Water healer or Fire DPS at level 40)
- Choose appearance and gender
First Time?
Trojan is the easiest class for beginners — high damage, simple mechanics, and fast grinding. Water Taoist is the most in-demand for groups but levels slowly solo. Archer is the best farmer but fragile.
Step 2: Your First Minutes
- You spawn in Twin City — the central hub
- Talk to the Guide NPC near your starting position for basic quests
- Visit the weapon shop in the market area — buy your first weapon
- Buy health potions — you'll need them
- Head outside Twin City to start killing monsters
Step 3: Leveling Zones
| Level Range | Where to Grind | XP Per Kill | Tips |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1–10 | Twin City outskirts | 2–18 | Kill Pheasants and Turtledoves. Safe and easy. |
| 10–30 | Nearby fields | 18–115 | BlueCooers, Bandits. Upgrade weapon at level 15. |
| 30–60 | Desert / Ape areas | 115–600 | ApeMonsters give good XP. Bring lots of potions. |
| 60–80 | Rock / Hill Monster zones | 600–1,100 | RockMonsters (Lvl 72), HillMonsters. Group up. |
| 80–100 | Advanced zones | 1,100–3,252 | RockMonsterL92, BirdmanKing area. Boss farming. |
| 100–120 | End-game maps | 3,252–6,711 | Robbers, FireRatD, EvilGhosts. Full party recommended. |
Step 4: Class Promotion
At level 15, visit the Job Center in Twin City to promote your class. This unlocks your first real skills and is a major power spike.
| Promotion Level | What Happens |
|---|---|
| Level 15 | 1st promotion — unlocks basic class skills |
| Level 40 | 2nd promotion — stronger skills and stats |
| Level 70 | 3rd promotion — advanced abilities |
| Level 100 | 4th promotion — near-max power |
| Level 110 | Master rank — final promotion tier |
| Level 120 | Eligible for Rebirth (see Rebirth guide) |
Step 5: Essential Tips
- Always carry potions — HP and MP pots are your lifeline
- Upgrade your weapon first — weapon upgrades have the biggest impact on grinding speed
- Join a guild — group leveling is faster and safer
- Use the Warehouse — store valuable items to keep them safe on death
- Scrap unwanted gear — at the Dragon Forge for materials, don't just vendor it
- Quality before level — upgrade weapon quality (with DragonBalls) before level (with Meteors) for huge cost savings
Attribute Points
For your first life (before rebirth), attribute points are automatically allocated based on your class and level. After rebirth, you gain free attribute points (base 52 + 3 per level above 15) that you can distribute manually. Recommended allocation by class:
| Class | Primary Stat | Secondary Stat |
|---|---|---|
| Trojan | Strength | Agility |
| Warrior | Strength | Vitality |
| Archer | Agility | Strength |
| Ninja | Agility | Strength |
| Water Taoist | Spirit | Vitality |
| Fire Taoist | Spirit | Vitality |
PvP Warning
Leaving safe zones exposes you to PvP. Players with Red Names (30+ PK points) or Black Names (100+ PK points) are dangerous criminals. Stay in safe zones until you're geared up, and check the PK mode of other players before venturing out.
