Socket Rules

  • Equipment can have up to 2 sockets (Slot 1 and Slot 2)
  • Sockets can be opened on most equipment (Head, Necklace, Armor, Weapons, Ring, Boots) using Drills
  • Slot 2 can only be filled after Slot 1 has a gem
  • Removing a gem from Slot 1 automatically moves the Slot 2 gem down
  • Fan (Position 10) can ONLY accept Thunder Gems
  • Tower (Position 11) can ONLY accept Glory Gems
  • Socket values: 0 = no socket, 255 = empty socket (ready for a gem)

Super Gem Combat Effects

Only Super-quality gems trigger special effects during combat. Effects use a two-stage trigger check (10% then 5%, for approximately 0.5% overall chance):

Tip

Don't forget your Talisman slots! Thunder Gems in your Fan and Glory Gems in your Tower provide significant offensive and defensive bonuses respectively. A Super Thunder Gem gives +500 damage increase.
